Please read the Terms of Use for your Consultation carefully and in their entirety before purchasing and scheduling your Fibromyalgia Coaching Consultation.
1. Definitions
“Company”, “We”, “I”, “Our”, “Us” or “IFCI” means International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC.
“Participation”, “Participating”, “Using”, or “Use” means engaging in the Consultation.
“Consultation” means the Fibromyalgia Coaching Consultation.
“Coach” and “Student Coach” means the independent Certified Fibromyalgia Coach® or independent Certified Fibromyalgia Coach®-in-training conducting the Consultation.
“You” “User” or “Your” means the purchaser and person scheduling and attending the Consultation.
2. Consent
By participating in the Consultation, you implicitly and voluntarily agree to act in accordance with, and abide by, these Terms of Use.
3. Relationship
While you have used IFCI’s “Find A Fibromyalgia Coach” page in order to schedule a Consultation with a trained and Certified Fibromyalgia Coach® or Certified Fibromyalgia Coach®-in-training, you understand that no coach-client relationship is being formed between you and IFCI.
By scheduling your Consultation, you agree and understand that you are being referred to an IFCI-certified Coach or Student Coach for coaching services. You are not receiving any coaching services from IFCI – all coaching is to be completed by your Coach or Student Coach. Further, you understand that IFCI’s Coaches and Student Coaches are independent businesses and not employees or Independent Contractors of IFCI, nor are their businesses connected in any way, apart from the Coach or Student Coach receiving their training from IFCI.
Once you have scheduled your Consultation with a Coach or Student Coach, your relationship with IFCI has ended. You understand no coach-client relationship is being formed between you and IFCI, nor is IFCI responsible in any way for the actions and behavior of the Coach or Student Coach conducting your Consultation.
3. DISCLAIMER
The purpose and goal of IFCI’s work is to connect potential clients and fibromyalgia patients, like you, with qualified fibromyalgia coaches who have been trained and certified by IFCI.
By participating in the Consultation, you understand that our Coaches and Student Coaches are not medical doctors, psychologists/psychiatrists, or other licensed medical professionals. You are expected to discuss any changes to your health, diet, or exercise regimen with your physician or another medical professional first before trying them.
This Consultation is for informational and educational purposes only. The information and education provided in this Consultation is not intended or implied to supplement or replace professional medical treatment, advice, and/or diagnosis.
Although we do our best to make sure all of the content in your Consultation is up to date and/or accurate, we do not make any representation that all the information is accurate or free of errors at all times. We do not assume any responsibility for accuracy of the information given during your Consultation, or its safety or efficacy as it applies to you. You should review any and all changes to your diet, lifestyle, exercise regimen, or supplement routine with your medical professional.
4. Refund Policy
By scheduling the Consultation, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to other clients. Therefore, IFCI is not able to offer refunds once you have scheduled the Consultation and completed the purchase. You understand this provision and agree that you are not entitled to a refund once payment has been issued to IFCI.
Further, you agree and understand that changing your mind about the Consultation, cancelling the Consultation, failing to follow through or understand how to attend the Consultation, not experiencing the results you expected or desired, or experiencing any other similar situations does not entitle you to a refund of the Consultation fee.

5. Appointment Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
Please understand that when you cancel or change your appointment without giving enough notice, we miss the opportunity to fill that appointment time, and clients on our wait list miss the opportunity to receive our help.
If it becomes necessary for you to cancel or reschedule the Consultation, please contact us at least 24 hours in advance. As noted in our Refund Policy (#4 above), there are no refunds for cancelled Consultations, regardless of when the Consultation is cancelled.
To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email us at admissions@ifcinstitute.com or use the Change/Cancel Appointment link in your appointment confirmation email.
If you do not cancel at least 24 hours in advance, you will forfeit the payment for the Consultation. If there are extenuating circumstances and you would like to reschedule your Consultation, email our team at admissions@ifcinstitute.com for consideration.
6. Late Appointment / No-Show Policy
Any late arrival will shorten your appointment time and will not be made up by running into the next client’s scheduled appointment.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for the Consultation, your Coach or Student Coach will do their very best to reschedule the Consultation for another time that is convenient for you. However, they may not be able to accommodate you and you may need to schedule with another Coach or Student Coach.
If you are more than 10 minutes late for the Consultation a second time, it will be treated as a cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
7. Confidentiality
This Terms of Use is considered a mutual non-disclosure agreement, meaning both you and IFCI agree not to disclose, reveal, or make use of any confidential information learned by either party during discussions, calls, emails, or otherwise.
You agree to allow IFCI to share your personal information with a Coach or Student Coach for the purposes of providing you the Consultation you scheduled.
IFCI will not disclose or share any confidential information learned as a result of your request for a Consultation (other than with Coach or Student Coach) and will continue to keep your confidential information private, even after you have been referred to a Coach or Student Coach, and the relationship between Client and IFCI has ended.
8. No Claims Made Regarding Results
Any and all current or past-client testimonials, statements, or examples used by us are simply that: examples. They are not guarantees that you will also experience or receive the same results. Each person and their circumstances are unique and nothing shall be interpreted as a guarantee that you will experience the same results as another client of ours.
9. DISCLAIMER – No Warranties, Guarantees, or Representations Are Being Made
We do not offer any representations, guarantees, or warranties, of any variety, regarding the Consultation in any way. The Consultation is offered “AS IS” and without representations, guarantees, or warranties of any kind, including but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, neither express nor implied, to the extent permitted by law. We are not liable for damages of any kind related to your use of information provided during the Consultation.
10. Your Release of Us, Indemnification, Hold Harmless
To the fullest extent permitted by law, International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC expressly disclaims liability for any direct, indirect, and/or consequential damages suffered by you related to your purchase or use of, or participation in, the Consultation, its materials, our website, or any other information obtained by you from us. By scheduling the Consultation, you hereby agree to this limitation of liability and release International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC from any and all claims.
By participating in and/or purchasing the Consultation, you agree to release, forgive, forever discharge, defend, indemnify, and hold harmless International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC, our subsidiaries, employees, agents, contractors, subcontractors, shareholders, directors, officers, coaches, students, assignees, licensees, and affiliates from any and all claims, suits, actions, charges, demands, liabilities, damages, judgments, and/or costs, related to, or arising out of, your purchase of or participation in the Consultation and/or your breach of any obligation, warranty, covenant, or representation set forth in these Terms of Use.
By enrolling in the Consultation, you agree to release us from any and all claims, and further agree to at all times defend, indemnify, and hold harmless International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC as stated in this section herein.
11. ARBITRATION CLAUSE
If you have any complaint or should any issue arise in the use of the Consultation, please contact us directly first by emailing the IFCI team at admissions@ifcinstitute.com.
However, if we are unable to amicably resolve your dispute in that manner, you agree that you and International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC. shall submit your dispute to binding arbitration with the American Arbitration Association, before an arbitrator that is mutually agreed upon, in accordance with the American Arbitration Association’s (“AAA”) rules.
By agreeing to this term, you hereby agree and understand that you are waiving your right to a jury trial in court, which would otherwise be available to you if not for this Arbitration Clause. Should any arbitration hearing need to be held, it shall be held within 50 miles of Seattle, Washington.
If the arbitrator issues an award and a judgment is made, the judgment will be binding and will be entered in court in the State of Washington. The only award that can be issued to you is a refund of any payment made to International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC for the applicable Consultation. You are not permitted to seek additional damages, including consequential or punitive damages.
12. Limitation of Liability
Tami Stackelhouse and International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC are not responsible or liable in any way for any and all damages you receive directly or indirectly from your participation in the Consultation. We do not assume liability for damages, injuries, harm, death, misuse of (or failure to properly use) the Consultation or its content, due to any act, or failure to act, by you. IN NO EVENT SHALL WE BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY INDIRECT, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
13. PAYMENT, PURCHASE, AND PAYMENT PLAN TERMS
When you pay for the Consultation by credit card, you authorize and give permission to International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC to charge your credit or debit card for the amount owed for payment of the Consultation. When you purchase the Consultation, your information (i.e. credit card and contact info) may be collected by the third-party merchant Square and Squarespace (Acuity Scheduling), who may have privacy policies or security practices that are different than ours. International Fibromyalgia Coaching Institute, LLC is not responsible for the merchants’ independent policies or practices.
14. Severability
The provisions of these Terms of Use shall be deemed severable, and the invalidity or unenforceability of any provision shall not affect the validity and enforceability of any other provision hereof. If any Section, subsection, sentence, or clause of these Terms of Use shall be adjudged illegal, invalid, or unenforceable, such illegality, invalidity, or unenforceability shall have no effect on the Terms of Use as a whole or on any Section, subsection, sentence, or clause hereof not expressly so adjudged.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms of Use contain the entire agreement between you and the Company. There are no other promises or conditions in any other agreement (oral or written) between you and the Company.
16. Choice of Law + Venue
These Terms of Use shall be governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any action brought by any party arising out of or from these Terms shall be brought within King County, Washington.
By purchasing and/or participating in the Consultation, you implicitly signify your agreement to all of the terms in these Terms of Use.
